Merging Duplicate Families on Family Connect

There can be scenarios where one parent will create a family on Rookie Me's Family Connect and another parent will also make a family by accident.

In this scenario we need to merge the two families together, follow the steps below.

1. Here we have Dad who has created Family 1 and Mum who has created Family 2

2. We are going to merge Mum's Family 2 into Family 1. Both parents should select merge family.

3. Dad needs to select 'Merge another family into mine' and Mum needs to select 'Merge this family into another'. Select continue.

4. On the next screen Dad will need to share this join code with Mum and select done. Mum will need to enter the join code into the provided field and click merge.

5. After a successful merge Mum will receive a screen a prompt to wait for approval to join the family she has just merged into. On Dad's screen he will have to approve the join request for Mum to join Family 1 (Dad may have to refresh his screen in order to see this change).

6. After a successful merge and join, Dad becomes the Family 1 owner and Mum has joined as a Manager of the family. Mum may need to refresh her screen in order to see this change.
