Stand alone Teams vs Clubs/Organisations

Can I just set up my own team(s)? 

The short answer is, yes! But if you are part of a club/organisation please keep reading. 


  1. Stand Alone Team (your team is not part of a club organisation)


    As the Team Manager / Team Owner you will all have Administration rights to manage and interact with your team. You can provide Admin (or Viewer) permissions to other Staff members of your team. 


If your Club / Organisation is using Rookie Me Connect DO NOT set up your own team. Request access from your club/organisation admin to a team they will have created for you.


  1. Part of a Club 

Your Club (Organisation) will need to provide you with access (via an email invite or the sharing of a Join Team Code - see below for more information on JTCs and email invites). 


Make sure you have been provided with Team Admin permissions if you want / need to set up your team and manage it during the season. If your club has only provided you with Viewer permissions your access to management functions will be limited. 


Once you have Admin permissions you will be able to: 


  • Add, Edit and Delete 

  • Players, Guardians and Staff 
  • Events (Games, Training and Other)
  • Posts 

  • Configure Messaging access for your team (see below for more information on messaging).
