Private Messages

What are Private Messages?

Private Messages let you have private conversations with one or more users.

Unlike Channels, which are shared spaces, Private Messages are for individual or small group chats.


How to Enable Private Messages


Private Messages must be enabled by an Admin:

  1. Go to Message Settings.
  2. Make sure the Conversation / Private Messages option is enabled.

How to Start a Private Message

  1. In the Messages section, click the “+” button.
  2. Select one or more users you’d like to message.
  3. A new Private Message thread will appear in your Messages list.
