Explaining Groups

What are groups?

A user has the ability to create groups of users that are apart of their entity/ies. Much in the same way a user would create group chats, the 'Groups' functionality of Rookie Me Hub is te same thing.

*Note for a person to become part of a group they must have a Rookie Me Account and also be a part of an entity that the person creating the group has some level of control over.

Practical uses:

• A team may want to create a user group of just players in their leadership team. An assistant coach may want to create a group of players that they are responsible for.
• A club may want to create a group of head coaches for all of their junior teams to only communicate particular information to them.
• An association may want to create a group of all coaching coordinators at each club to easily communicate upcoming education sessions for eaxample.

Please note that any groups created will automatically appear as a chat group on Rookie Me Hub and also Rookie Me Connect.
