Uploading a Fixture for a Team

Please note: to utilise the spreadsheet template you will either need Microsoft excel installed on your device or have access to Google sheets to manipulate the data on the template.

  1. Ensure your team is selected.
    1. Your teams are located at the top of the left hand side navigation menu.
    2. If you have more than one team, hover over your team and select the drop down arrows to switch between teams.

  1. Select 'Events', then select 'Import Games' in the top right.

  1. The spreadsheet that you import must have the information listed at the top of the screen with data entered in the specified formats. The exception being the 'Home Game' column, which will require a "Yes" for home game or a "No" for an away game. PLEASE NOTE the date format MUST be YYYY-MM-DD

  1. After uploading the excel file, ensure all data appears accurate before selecting 'Next'.

  1. Be sure that all data is aligned in the appropriate columns before selecting 'Next'.

  1. Ensure all data is true and accurate before confirming and finalising the entry process.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR LOCATIONS IMPORT: when uploading a fixture, the locations are limited by the 'nearby' functionality of Google Maps. This can be a problem if you are importing an event for Eden Park Auckland, New Zealand when you are currently located in Victoria, Australia. Putting the name "Eden Park" in the location field of the import file will not have the desired result as the functionality will default to the nearest Eden Park being in Victoria, Australia. However if you put slightly more information such as "Eden Park, Reimers Avenue, Auckland" into your import template, then the correct location will be automatically assigned by Google Maps.
