Metrics - Expaining Integrity Scores
The Integrity Score is designed to improve data integrity for clubs/leagues wishing to implement game time policy.
The Integrity Score will ensure clubs and leagues have confidence in any inferences they make from a particular game or group of games.
The Integrity Score is on a scale of zero to five, with five being a game with the highest integrity.
Users receive one integrity point for each of the below categories:
1 point - 'Clock Integrity'
The game has successfully completed without overuse of the clock edit feature (e.g. a user has not used the clock edit function to fast forward through a game).
1 point - 'Unexpected Period Length'
Represents a realistic period length (e.g. no period is < 8 minutes or > 45 minutes).
1 point - 'Absent Players Included In Game'
User has no players with 0% Percentage Game Time (i.e. the user has moved all players who have not been present into absent - thereby not compromising their Fair Game Time score).
1 point - 'Unexpected Game Start Time'
The match in question has started within an 'acceptable' time period of the scheduled start of the game (e.g. a user can not go home after a match has finished and create a false match in an attempt to show compliance).
1 point - 'Game Not Ended'
A user is awarded one integrity point if they end the final period and the game in a timely manner. Rookie Me will auto-end the game at midnight on the day of the game. Should Rookie Me auto-end your game, you will not receive an integrity point.
